After learning all about Africa last term, today Year 5 became the experts and led workshops around the school. They designed, planned, resourced and delivered areas of Africa they were interested in. Key questions were used and WAGOLL shown. Miss Coade is really worried about her job!
Recently we have been using story whooshing in our Literacy lessons to tell stories. This involves children acting out scenes whilst it is being read out by the narrator. When the whoosh sound is made, it means the slate is wiped clean and different children can take on the roles. Here are two groups performing their stories with the help of props. They even asked some of the groups to get involved too!
